A lesser known attraction located out near the Kennedy Space Center is the Astronaut Hall of Fame.

The U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame features the world’s largest collection of personal astronaut mementos, plus historic spacecrafts, hands-on activities and astronaut training simulators.

Among the fascinating memorabilia on display is Gus Grissom’s Mercury spacesuit, the Apollo XIV capsule and a collection of John Glenn's early aviation notebooks and military garb. Sit at a mission control console, take a virtual moonwalk and for the thrill seekers among you feel the pull of 4 G’s in the G-Force Simulator.
